After 2 days of having the worst possible dry cough ever, what I guess could only compare to tuberculosis or lung cancer (okay quite exaggerating here), a variety of cough meds and warm water (which is the worst tasting water to me! i know, I'm that picky) i have finally got my eyes to open and head to not feel likes its going to explode! I'm getting quite better but i couldn't just let this day go by without saying Thank you!
Today, is Foodful Glory's 1st Anniversary! My first time to be ever truly committed to something for one whole year! and hopefully i will continue to do so in the upcoming years!
The year just flew out the window, and could you believe I've managed to put quite a number of content here? I'm just so happy, thankful and kinda touched there are actual people who read my blog and yes! not just my family and friends! Though they are my number one readers so thanks you lot for just even clicking the article i wrote and not really reading it! It means a lot to me! haha!!
What else can I say? maybe I'll just give you 3 facts about the blog that not even my family knows about it!? Sounds cool? Maybe not but here it goes...

1.) Foodful Glory was originally called "Pransya Pagkain".
It started in 2010, where I wanted to make a food blog. It only had one post in it that looked like cr*p and I never had the time nor the inspiration to update it. So I erased the blog and made Foodful Glory. Foodful glory was more of an expression to me when I like to see great food Holy-fied and it was supposed to be the title of my (wannabe-missknowitall-pretentious) book. Clearly theres no book so I decided to just name my blog Foodful Glory and voila!

2.) Foodful Glory was supposed to be a strictly recipe blog. And a strictly pastry recipe blog too.
Yes, in my mind I loved how the whole reviewing writing, but at first I just wanted it to be simple so i thought i'd just do recipes, and recipes that i know of and tweaked and made my own. And all of them were pastry recipes. But as time passed ( and there are times when someone like me enjoys to cook gets lazy) I decided to eat out and write about what I really thought honest to everyone and myself. Pastry is my thing but I really enjoy cooking savoury dishes as well so this year I decided to just call Foodful Glory a Food Blog. you never know maybe next year I might be reviewing your favourite hair dressers or hotels, Fashion weeks, gadgets? well maybe not but you'll never know!
3.) When I made Foodful Glory there was one specific person I had in mine that I hope would read it.
And that is my nephew Hugo. Just in case he gets his auntie's knack in cooking and baking, and I never publish that wannabe cookbook I had in mind, then he can always visit this site and see all the recipes I wrote.
